Typically, little children write letters to Santa asking for toys and presents. However, one Channelview, TX, 12-year-old boy wrote a letter to Santa asking for something much more dire. All Arnulfo Guerra Jr. wanted was a new heart for his mother. Most 12-year-olds have already given up believing in St. Nick, but perhaps when your mom could be taken from you, you’ll start to believe in miracles again.
“I believe in you and the miracles, Santa,” Arnulfo wrote. “I don’t want toys for me, only I want a [healthy] heart for my mom, she’s sick, her diagnostic is transposition of the great [arteries] (T.G.A). I’m sad for her she’s 46 years and I’m only 12, next March 18 I will be 13 teen, we need her for many years more, me and my Dad pray all day for mom… I want is to see my mom [healthy] and happy.”
