This Weird And Creepy Little House Floats Underneath An Old Railway Arch

We’ve all seen those weird little houses that you can get now. Neat, smartly thought-out little dwellings that are often pre-fabricated and all about saving space and money. Some are cool, some are cramped. There are plenty which look slick and you can really imagine living in. But very few of them are as unique and, well, quite as horrifying as the one we’ve got to show you here…

It’s called “The Black Flying House” and it’s been designed by the clever folk at Czech Republic-based firm H3T Architekti. The stripped-down and basic vernacular construction only measures 1.7 meters by 2.5 meters. So it ain’t exactly snug. But it is oddly captivating.

It’s the floating bit that we love. Accessible by a black ladder, the house has a small living room, a stove, and even a small sleeping loft. There’s a skylight and even a couple small windows providing light. It’s not luxurious, but it’s certainly interesting…

Here’s a gallery of images courtesy of H3T Architekti that really brings across the creepiness, style and excellent design and ambience of the Flying Black House. Would you like to like in it? Probably not. Is it expertly crafted and designed and just deliciously macabre and unsettling? Absolutely…
